U13 Boys
Ocean City FC U13 boys had a very successful weekend with two successive shutouts. Saturday May 22nd Ocean City FC hosted Super Nova FC and the team were able to finish the game with a 1-0 win. The goal was scored by Thomas Dovell who cleverly rounded the goalkeeper after receiving a through pass from Luis Ferreira. The second game of the weekend saw an attacking display from Ocean City FC with them managing to score four goals in a 4-0 win against Rage SC.
The U13 boys will look to take their good form into their next game on Sunday June 6th when they travel to play Real Maryland FC.
U14 Boys
The Ocean City FC under 14 boys travelled to Leesport, PA to take on Rage SC on Sunday May 23rd. The team came away with a well earned 3-1 victory – the squad was made up of a mixture of the U14 boy squad as well as a few additions from the younger U13 boy team. The three goal scorers for Ocean City FC were Stephen Pashuck, Robert Gillian, and Eddie Slavinkas. Coach Carl Dickson said ‘I was pleased to see how the squad have gelled together in such a short period of time and their confidence was shown throughout the game.’
The U14 boys will now have to wait until Sunday June 13th to host NJ Rangers FC.
U15 Boys
The Ocean City FC U15 boys team have been practicing over the last few weeks at Tennessee Avenue fields. The team are still looking for a couple of players including a goalkeeper to complete their roster for the upcoming Super Y League season. U20 Women
Saturday May 22nd saw the Ocean City FC U20 women play their first league game of the summer against Perugia Grifos at Carey Stadium, Ocean City. The game ended in a 2-2 tie with Danielle Wessler scoring from the penalty spot and Katelyn McFadden scoring from some good individual play for Ocean City FC.
The second game of the weekend for the Ocean City U20 Women saw them host Maryland Rush. It was a successful fixture for the Ocean City Women as they ended the game with a 1-0 victory. The only goal of the game was scored in the first half by Nicole Kuhar, a spectacular volley from twenty five yards out. The Ocean City FC Women were able to achieve a well earned shutout from goalkeeper Courtney Budd.
Head Coach Leon Brown stated “I’m very pleased with the performance shown by the girls over the weekend. With two positive results we could not have asked for better start to the season. The level of maturity shown by the girls gives great promise for the remainder of the season”

U20 Men
Sunday May 23rd saw Ocean City FC U20 Men play at Supernova FC, the game finished in a 2-1 loss for Ocean City. Ocean City FC took the lead through an own goal as a result of a corner. They were able to take the 1-0 lead into half time. In the second half Supernova FC pushed on and scored from a great strike to the level the game. As the game reached its final moments Ocean City FC pushed on for a win however they were punished after Supernova FC were able to score with the last kick of the game resulting in a 2-1 loss for Ocean City FC
The U20 Men will travel to play Potomac SC on Saturday June 5th for their next league fixture.
