COACHES COMMENT
"Tyler had an amazing debut this past season at Northwestern. His imposing size and frame led to instant success on the pitch as his team advanced into the NCAA tournament before being knocked out by Akron in the 1st round. With experience in big game matches against some of the top teams in the country (including 2 ties vs Indiana and 1 vs Notre Dame), we are very happy with the signing of such a young player with a big future in front of him."

Northwestern is one of the most famous sporting universities in America so it is no coincidence that we have recruited a player of such quality from the school. The Freshman goalkeeper Tyler Miller started all 19 games for the Wildcats in 2011 recording 9 shutouts, tying the single season record and already placing him 4th on the all-time shut out list. Originally from WoodburyNJTyler has decided to spend this precious time in the PDL with the Ocean City Nor’easters. His success was recognized off the field by the conference and the nation by being named First-Team All Big Ten and Tyler was a unanimous choice for the all-freshman team. This was topped by a call up the US U20 Men’s National Team Camp in Ft.Lauderdale, Fl this year. A great pro career is on the cards for this fantastic young goalkeeper. It is now the Ocean City Nor’easters duty to prepare him for the years ahead and continue his improvement to fulfill his potential and become a world class goalkeeper.
