Barons wrap up road trip in Delaware

Four-game unbeaten streak on the line against expansion club

Ocean City is on the road again for the last of four straight matches away from home, this time on a visit to PDL newcomers the Delaware Dynasty. The Dynasty are doing well in their inaugural season with a record of 3-4-0 and currently placed third in the division. They will be riding high after last weekend's 3-2 win over the first place Westchester Flames.

The Barons (3-1-3, 12 pts.) are on a four-game unbeaten streak after a convincing 4-0 win at Reading last weekend. Adam Sternberger scored two goals and assisted on a brace by Byron Carmichael. Rich Baker rounded out the scoring in the second half and Issey Mahalo made seven saves to preserve the shutout. Sternberger has played in every game this season, and leads the team in scoring with three goals and one assist.

The current run has placed the Barons in second place, only a single point behind Westchester, who play two over the weekend. Saturday they will face Reading at home, and then will travel to Brooklyn the following day.

The game will kickoff at 6:00 p.m. on Saturday night. Fans can listen to a live audio broadcast of the game online by visiting the Barons' website at SJBarons.com.
