With cold, snowy weather just around the corner, it signals the beginnings of another indoor winter training season with Ocean City FC. Last years Winter Program had over 70 kids aged 7-14 years old taking part in the eight-week program at the Euro Sports Center in Egg Harbor City, NJ. The Nor’easters are also welcoming players of High School age to hone their skills ahead of the Spring club season.
Kids of all ages will be attending the camp where they will work on a variety of skills with the Ocean City FC coaching staff, led by director of coaching Leon Brown.
Our Winter Program offers professional training to the serious soccer player looking to enhance their skills and stay ahead of the game during the winter break. The program focuses on ball mastery to improve ball skills, passing and shooting. The program reflects the Nor’easters aim of improving a players first touch and encouraging quick passing soccer. The Winter Program includes the high level of coaching quality that is now expected from the Ocean City Nor’easters coaching staff.
The players will be split up into age groups so that they can improve at their own level in a comfortable setting.
Ocean City FC are holding 2 sessions of the Winter Program for players aged 7-14 years old: Jan 11th - Feb 1st and Feb 8th - Feb 29th. Players can participate in both sessions to really make the most of this winter break. The sessions will be held on Wednesday’s 7pm-9pm at the Eurosport Center in Egg Harbor City, NJ.
