On the new turf at Carey Stadium, more than 40 soccer players from across the nation were hoping to catch the eye of new Ocean City Nor'easters head coach John Thompson as they showed off their skills. Their goal: making one of the three Ocean City Nor’easters teams (U-20, U-23, Premier Development League) for 2017.

Pfeiffer University star becomes first to win the award in consecutive seasons
The Pfeiffer University star scored 24 goals (including nine game-winners) and dished out 10 assists in 22 games as he led the defending national champions into the NCAA tournament. The 58 points was tops in the nation, while his 24 goals ranked second.
