Nor'easters seeking team manager, assistant for 2022 season

There aren't very many better places to spend the summer than Ocean City, N.J., America's Greatest Family Resort. This is true for players and coaches but also for the team staff.

With that being said, the Nor'easters are looking for a team manager and assistant team manager for the 2022 USL League Two season.

The team manager attends all practices as well as home and away games for the Nor'easters in Ocean City. The person in this position would help transport all relevant gear from the team office to each practice, and includes the potential of driving vans during road trips.

On game days they would be responsible for all the jerseys and practice gear and the set up of the field during home games and transportation on away games. The role would also include the cleaning of all uniforms and practice gear. This position also includes various duties as part of game day operations.

"The team manager position is one of the most important jobs at the club," said Nor'easters general manager Giancarlo Granese Jr. "The position requires you to be around the team daily and really be focused on the task at hand. We are looking for someone who is very focused and is able to handle doing multiple things at once."

Whoever is chosen as the new team manager, they will have big shoes to fill, but will have a lot of fun doing it.

"Being a team manager with the Nor'easters was really something special," said long-time Ocean City team manager Eric Kusko. "Being able to help out and manage a soccer team is a dream come true, especially after 10 seasons, I've met so many players and coaches, and the front office staff has always welcomed me and made me feel appreciated. The Nor'easters and the city of Ocean City will always have a place in my heart."

The team manager position is a paid position. The positions begin in early May 2022 and will conclude at the end of the season in late July.

Any interested parties should send a resume and cover letter to Nor'easters general manager Giancarlo Granese Jr. at internship@oceancityfc.com.
