Nor'easters announce 2021 broadcast partner: BFA Productions

The Ocean City Nor'easters are excited to announce that will provide live online video streams of every home game of the 2021 USL League Two season.

Beginning with the club's home opener on Sunday, May 23 against West Chester United, the Nor'easters will partner with BFA Productions, a local live streaming company that broadcasts a wide variety of live events with a specialty in live sports.

"As we see our fan base and number of supporters grow, including our Nor'easter alumni that live all over the world, this is a monumental step for our club to give everyone live access to matches at the Beach House," said Nor'easters Sporting Director Tim Oswald. "It's extremely beneficial for our current players as this enhances the quality of exposure we can give them to more clubs, scouts and coaches to evaluate their performance in match play on a professional video platform."

For fans unable to make it out to the Carey Stadium ("The Beach House"), they can tune in online on their smartphone, computer or mobile device through USL League Two's live streaming platform, Mycujoo.

Local broadcasting veteran Mike Frankel will handle the play-by-play duties for the broadcasts.

Frankel currently works as a multimedia journalist for Jersey Sports Zone, covering high school sports in South Jersey. Prior to working there, he was an anchor/reporter for both NBC 40 an SNJ Today, which saw him cover sports from all over South Jersey, including some memorable moments by the Ocean City Nor'easters.

Frankel has also performed freelance play-by-play and color commentary for Prime Events high school basketball radio broadcasts and various live stream broadcasts with BFA Productions.

"I've covered the Nor'easters from the TV side of things for a number of years, and now I'm excited to shift into a play-by-play role to help fans enjoy what promises to be an exciting summer at the Beach House," said Frankel.
