This past Saturday 24th April saw the Ocean City FC Under 18s play Cape Express in the State Cup. Ocean City FC won the game 2-1 with both MJ Nestor and Rocco Gambino getting on the score sheet.
Coach Leon Brown said 'having to play the entire game with 11 players, the boys used their experience to overcome a tricky tie. In the first half the Cape Express team moved the ball better than us but our defense held firm. After making some adjustments in the second half the boys took full control of the game by scoring two smartly taken goals.'
The team will play at Vineland in the State Cup Quarter Final which must be played before May 10.
