The Ocean City Nor’easters are offering internships within our minor league soccer franchise and the opportunity to earn a number of college credits. We have been certified to give college credit in the past and we will help you in every way to get them for this internship. The internships will be from May - August.

Ocean City FC is a soccer franchise based in Ocean City, New Jersey that competes in the Premier Development League (PDL) -- the top men’s amateur league in North America. The PDL is considered the third level of soccer in the United States below the nation’s top professional league, Major League Soccer and USL PRO division. Players have the ability to compete in the PDL throughout the summer months in a professionalized setting while maintaining their collegiate eligibility. The league is the proving ground for players that aspire to reach the highest levels of the game, while providing affordable family entertainment to the Ocean City community.
We are currently interested in recruiting a number of interns for next years PDL season May thru August 2012. The areas in which we are interested in recruiting are as follows:
Sports Marketing & Promotions
Broadcasting/Public Address Game Day
Media/Production
Sports Management
The internships on offer will allow students who have a passion for sports the opportunity to gain valuable industry experience during the summer months. Ocean City FC is a young dynamic sports setting with a number of youth teams and community events to participate in as well as the PDL team. By being a part of our professional minor league soccer franchise over the summer you will be involved with the front office staff, promotions in the community, developing and implementing marketing strategies, 8 home game day operations and local charity work. This will involve working some evenings and weekends as is necessary in running a competitive soccer franchise in the largest league in North America, USL.
