Forward

Players will learn and develop the necessary skills to become an effective forward in today’s game. Training will focus on the following principles:

  • Proper shooting technique
  • Movement in the attacking third
  • Finishing vs. Striking
  • Dribbling and overall decision making

Training will be tailored to each individual’s playing style and are led by Nor'easters coaches or players.

Midfielder

Players will develop the skills to be a competent midfielder. Training will focus on the following principles:

  • Short Passing, Long Passing,
  • First Touch control,
  • Dribbling,
  • Crossing,
  • Tackling

Training will be tailored to each individual’s playing style and are led by Nor'easters coaches or players.

Defender

Players will learn the skills to become solid defenders at our training sessions. Training will focus on the following principles:

  • Tackling,
  • Clearances,
  • Defensive heading
  • Passing
  • Decision making
  • Communication

Training will be tailored to each individual’s playing style and are led by Nor'easters coaches or players.

Goalkeeper

Players will develop the skills to become not just a great shot-stopper but overall better goalkeeper. Training will focus on the following principles:

  • Handling
  • Diving
  • Reactions
  • Judging crosses
  • Positioning
  • Distribution
  • Communication

Training will be tailored to each individual’s playing style and are led by Nor'easters coaches or players.
