Reading FC Coaches Teach Super Y-League Players The Tricks of the Trade
Reading FC coaches Phil Griffiths and Richard Witt travelled from the Royal county of Berkshire to host a week long camp for the young players of the Ocean City FC Super Y-League and Pre-Super Y-League teams. This was more than a regular soccer camp, it was intentive, creative and looked at all aspects of what it takes to be a professional soccer player on and off the field.

Ocean City FC is very proud of its partnership with Reading FC - former home to US National Team players - Bobby Convey and Marcus Hahnemann.
Reading is located 40 miles west of London in the Royal county of Berkshire and the club plays in the English Championship (the level directly below the English Premier League). Reading FC is one of the oldest clubs in England having been established since 1871. In 2006, the club was promoted to the English Premier League for the first time in its 135-year history. Reading played two seasons in the EPL before being relegated back down to the Championship.

Following one of the best goalkeeping performances in Ocean City FC history last season, Tunde Ogunbiyi (Boston College / Gwynedd, PA) is on his way to England ...temporarily. Ogunbiyi, who will be a senior at Boston College this fall, leaves on February 26 and when he arrives in Reading, he will spend a week training with Reading FC who play in "The Championship" (the league directly below the English Premier League).
