Meet the forwards below (in alphabetical order):

Alessandro Arlotti (Harvard / San Remo, Italy)

In his first season in Ocean City, Arlotti made quite a first impression on Nor'easters fans in 2022. He became the first player in club history to score a goal in each of the first three games of the season. He would finish as the team leader in goals (8), assists (6), and minutes played (1,244). Arlotti was involved in 14 of the club's 28 goals either as the goalscorer or the assist man. The most impressive stat was the seven game-winning plays, which ranked among the league leaders. He scored four game-winning goals and dished out three game-winning assists on the season. Arlotti also won the league's Goal of the Week award for the final week of the season for his incredible volley against the Philadelphia Lone Star in the season finale. Arlotti was voted the team's MVP and the Offensive Player of the Year.

Last fall, in Arlotti’s sophomore season at Harvard, he finished as the school’s second leading scorer with 5 goals and 7 assists (17 points). The Crimson finished with a 9-4-4 record.

Ryan Becher (UCLA / Hummelstown, PA)

Becher, a former Reading United player, will wear an Ocean City uniform in 2023. Something his cousin Simon Becher did in 2021 when he was the Storm’s Offensive Player of the Year and was later drafted and signed by the Vancouver Whitecaps (MLS). Ryan is forging his own path from a talented soccer family (his brother and two cousins all played NCAA Division I soccer). He was a starter from day one at the University of Maryland Baltimore County (UMBC). He was named to the America East All-Rookie Team as a freshman in 2019. After the COVID-shortened season in 2020, Becher joined Reading United in the summer and was part of the USL League Two All-Eastern Conference team, along with his cousin Simon (with Ocean City). He carried that momentum into the college season with UMBC with seven goals and five assists and was named to the All-Conference Second Team. Last season, he had his best college campaign with 13 goals and 10 assists. Becher was named America East First Team All-Conference and was selected by NCAA.com to be part of the “Best Starting XI” in Division I soccer. After graduating from UMBC, he will head to the opposite coast and play for UCLA where he will play with Nor'easters teammate Jack Sarkos.

Jamie Davis (Univ. of New Hampshire / Cheshire, England)

Jamie Davis spent four years at St. Peter’s University where he finished his career as one of the best to put on a Peacocks uniform. He finished his career with six goals and 24 assists (which ranks second in school history), was a two-time all-conference selection, and four-time all-academic selection. He transferred to the University of New Hampshire last season where he started 11 of the 14 games he played in, adding a goal and an assist. He helped the Wildcats finish with a 15-4-1 record and they reached the Second Round of the NCAA tournament. The Cheshire, England native spent eight years in the Crewe Alexandra Academy before coming to the United States. He has USL League Two experience as well having suited up for Seacoast United Under-23s in 2021 and last summer for North Carolina Fusion U-23s. The Fusion made the playoffs and reached the national semifinals before falling to the Long Island Rough Riders.

Daniel Diaz-Bonilla (Syracuse / Vienna, VA)

Diaz-Bonilla was one of five players who played in all 14 regular season games for the Nor’easters in 2022. He finished third on the team in scoring with three goals and three assists. He scored the lone goal in the Storm’s road win over Reading United AC on June 7.

Diaz-Bonilla has had three great seasons with Princeton, including being the third-leading scorer for the Tigers in 2022. He was an All-Ivy League honorable mention selection last year with four goals and three assists on the season. Diaz-Bonilla will be transferring to Syracuse next fall.

Andrew Kitch (North Carolina / Medford, NJ)

He also won the Olympic Conference Player of the Year in 2021. With all of his accomplishments, the Medford, NJ native got the attention of the Tar Heels and he's heading to Chapel Hill to play for the University of North Carolina in the fall. In fact, after graduating high school early, he's already gotten a head start on his college soccer career, playing in three games for the Tar Heels in some spring exhibition games.

Jack Sarkos (UCLA / Margate City, NJ)

People in South Jersey have known about Jack Sarkos for a long time. The Margate City, NJ native broke the all-time goalscoring record at Mainland High School (75 goals), in addition to the single-season record (26). He racked up plenty of awards before heading north to Lehigh University. His breakout season came in his junior year where he led the team in scoring (8 goals, 2 assists) and was named First Team All-Patriot League. In his senior season he was first team all-conference but also added an all-region team selection to his resume. He scored eight goals and added two more assists. After graduating from Lehigh, Sarkos is using his last year of eligibility to fly across the country to play for UCLA this fall along with Nor'easters teammate Ryan Becher. The Bruins are coming off a run to the Sweet Sixteen last season.

Colin Veltri (St. John’s / Mays Landing, NJ)

South Jersey native Colin Veltri comes from a strong soccer family, his brothers Matthew and Justin both played college soccer at Rider University and Matthew went on to play professionally in Spain after graduating. He played in 10 games (started three) for the Red Storm in his freshman campaign last season and has a bright future ahead of him at the Division I level.
