2010 Ocean City FC Super-20 Women

Ocean City FC will be hosting open tryouts for players interested in playing for the Nor’easters’ women’s Super-20 team.

The team will feature elite players from the region who will compete in the United Soccer League’s Super-20 League, the only Under-20 women’s North American amateur league.

The tryouts will be held Saturday, April 23rd from 1:00 p.m. to 2:30 p.m. at Tennessee Ave  Soccer Field click here for direction

The USL Super-20 League provides the platform for top 17-20 year olds in the United States and Canada to compete at the elite level. While serving as a reserve team system for many W-League teams, the USL Super-20 League features teams competing in four regional conferences, consisting of 8-10 regular season matches throughout the summer months.

Ocean City FC’s Super-20 team, as well as the rest of the club’s Super Y-League teams, help players take their game to the next level, including getting noticed by college coaches and earning scholarships. This past year, nine women’s Super-20 players (as well as 12 men’s players) graduated from high school and were awarded with college scholarships.
